The Brantford Expositor: New exhibition features artist’s work alongside those of his family

Hamilton-based comic artist and illustrator David Collier’s new exhibition Collier’s Family Daze opened May 17 featuring a collection of paintings, prints, posters, newspapers by the artist and members of his family, offering a multigenerational look at creative legacy.

“The exhibition will be accompanied by a comic book launch on Sunday, May 25 at 2 p.m.,” noted curator Matthew Ryan Smith. “Co-published with Glenhyrst, the comic – titled How Poppa’s Paintings Ended up in the Glenhyrst Gallery – was created by Collier specifically for the exhibition.”
