Toronto Comic Jam Book Archive Project

The Toronto Comic Jam has been around literally for decades with, on average, 11 jam zines a year. This means about 300 of them. So far.

You’d think after all this time, there would be an actual complete collection of them somewhere. Well, you would be wrong. Keeping track of these critters has been hard over the years.

And so we ask, please, help us complete our collection of Jam Books so that we may digitize them and keep a physical copy backup.

This is the purpose of our Toronto Comic Jam Book Archive Project.

In reclaiming this history, we hope to make them available on the web, reproduce enough zines to send physical copies to zine libraries and the National Archives, and be able to print collections for those who would like them.

If you have ever attended at any point,  please look deep into the backs of your closets, under your beds, and in your attics and basements to see if you have a copy from the below list of missing months that you are willing to share.

No one’s feelings will be hurt if you do not want your copy back, but please let us know if you do, and we will scan it and send it back.

If you can help us, please email thetorontocomicjam at gmail dot com with ARCHIVE in the subject, and we’ll send over the place to send them to. Or just come on down to The Cameron for whatever is the next comic jam.
